THE SYSTEM
The SoundDown™ Tranquillo Acoustic Flooring System is ideal for new builds and renovations. It delivers effective airborne and impact sound reduction for a more comfortable interior environment and, depending on the assembly, designed to meet NCC requirements.
At the heart of the system is the pre-assembled batten that is loose-laid over the flooring substructure. Insulation is then installed between the battens and the flooring topper fixed to the battens to secure the system and its positioning.
Specification is simple and the system’s supporting documentation mitigates any council issues during any stage of the project. SoundDown™ also supply a range of supplementary solutions for the system as part of their hands-on approach, offering both supply or supply and install services.
The Tranquillo system uses, where possible, locally manufactured sustainable products.
